Marshall County residents will soon have more ports in a storm. On Tuesday, the county commission accepted grants to build eight new community storm shelters in 2013. That will double the number of safe houses in Marshall. Each shelter costs about 100-thousand dollars, but FEMA covers about 75-thousand of that. Of the new shelters, three will be in Guntersville, two in Albertville and one each in Arab, Grant and Horton.
