Stolen car, three arrested

Etowah County sheriff’s deputies have arrested three people in connection with a car stolen over the weekend in Boaz. A 1999 Torota Corolla was taken Sunday from a home on Haydn Road. It was found totaled Monday on Bellamy Road in the Egypt community. Thanks to information from the Bellamy Road property owner, a vehicle stopped on Egypt Road was found to contain items taken from the Corolla. 22-year-old Christopher Dildy of Albertville was arrested for first-degree theft. Two others in the car, 20-year-old Courtney Brea Dunny of Rainbow City and 21-year old Kayla Renee Schoenlein of Gadsden, both of whom had outstanding warrants, were arrested.
