Tim’s Back On Top

Tim McGraw has his 33rd career No. 1 song with “One Of Those Nights,” which tops the Billboard country singles chart this week. The nostalgic tune is second single from the superstar’s Two Lanes of Freedom album (also a chart-topper). “Country radio has never let me down, and I’m so thankful for those relationships,” says Tim. “It’s going to be a great song for the tour this summer; it sets the perfect tone for an awesome night!”

The Grammy Awards telecast earlier this month gave a few country acts a boost in albums sales. Show opener Taylor Swift returned to the top of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, while Best New Artist nominee Hunter Hayes moved 33,428 copies of his self-titeld debut, up from just over 18,500 copies the week before the Grammys. Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town also kicked things up several notches, increasing the already solid sales of Blown Away and Tornado, respectively, thanks no doubt to their performances on the show.
