The title of this blog… think about it for a minute. What does it mean to live? That was the question presented to these kids… kids that are cancer patients. Here are some of the answers they provided.
1. To be present in every moment and never taking a single breath for granted.
2. Try to change the world and make it a better place
3. To share the gifts you have been given
These are completely innocent kids that have unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer. I’ve recently had the chance to visit with St. Jude’s hospital in Memphis, TN and to hear the stories from the kids and parents about their battle with cancer is one of the most profound experiences I’ve had in the 26 years I’ve been on this earth.
The blessings we have been given we easily take for granted. March 4th we’re putting on our yearly St. Jude Radiothon. We hope you will all join us in the effort to beat cancer. For more information about St. Jude and the services they provide click HERE.
