Storm Spotters Class in Albertville Ahead of Storms

It’s that time of year again. Storm season. And the storm spotters class is tonight at 6 in Albertville. At the City Hall. The class was supposed to be last month but like a lot of things was postponed because of snowstorms. The Marshall County Emergency Management Agency puts on the class in conjunction with the National Weather Service. A meteorologist will be the presenter. IT is free and open to the public and will train you in what to look for and how to report severe weather.

And your chance could come tomorrow, as severe storms with possible brief tornadoes are in the forecast for north Alabama Friday.
