Etowah County School Board getting closer to setting up an online high school. It would allow some students to do their work online instead of going to regular classes. The move is required by the state and the county is working on rules to make the online work as challenging as classwork. The online arrangement would allow some students in apprentice programs to work and then go to school on the web on their own schedule. The school board set to vote next month on policies that govern the online learning.
