Red Cross Thanksgiving Blood Drive

Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood, that leads to more than 41,000 blood donations that are needed each day. Help WQSB, MIX 102.9 & Power 107.5 save a life this holiday season at the “American Red Cross Thanksgiving Blood Drive” Wednesday, Nov. 25th; Friday, Nov. 27th & Saturday, Nov. 28th at Premiere Cinemas in the Gadsden Mall from 1 pm until 7 pm.

All blood donors will receive a FREE movie ticket to Premiere Cinemas in the Gadsden Mall and a special gift, while they last.

  4. Each “Teacher of The Week” selected will receive a check in the amount of $100 to off-set classroom expenses.

The 37th Annual Christmas Cash Contest is back and WQSB, MIX 102.9 & POWER 107.5 fm are teaming up to give away $5,000 in cash!

Registration boxes will be placed all throughout our listening area and we encourage our listeners to stop by and register.
Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 11th we will begin to announcing names on the air. Each person will have 10 minutes to call and claim $100 in cash. There wil be a total of 50 $100 winners!

The entry blanks will be brought back to WQSB Studios. Each day during The Contest, Names will be randomly drawn and the names will be announced on WQSB, Mixx 102.9 and Power 107.5. If the person calls any of the 3 Stations within 10 minutes, they win $100. Names will be announced until $5,000 in cash is given away.
