United Way
United Way of Etowah County, United Way of Cullman County, United Way of East Central Alabama and United Way of Central Alabama have partnered together to establish relief funds to help with the recovery needs. To Donate Items In Jacksonville
A donation center for the Jacksonville tornado relief effort has been established at 1st United Methodist Church, Jacksonville 109 Gale Av SW. Items may be dropped off between 9:00am and 5:00pm. DO NOT donate clothing.  Please donate VISA Gift Cards (preferred), Blankets, Toiletries, Cleaning Supplies,
Leather Work Gloves (for volunteers), Safety Vests (for volunteers). Affected persons needing supplies may also pick them up at the church. Residents affected by the storms should call 211 for assistance with non-emergencies.

Work gloves, safety glasses and ear plus are needed.  Drop them off at the Southside Community Center on Hwy 77 beside city hall weekdays 8:00am till 5:00pm.

Volunteers will be dispatched again beginning on Friday, March 23. Volunteers should wear
durable, protective clothing such as closed toe shoes and boots. If they have safety gear such as
leather work gloves and reflective clothing/vests or tools, please bring them.
Heavy equipment shouldn’t be coming in anymore since the roads are clear

If you would like to volunteer in Southside, report to the Southside Community Center across from City Hall on Hwy 77 weekdays between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Bring heavy work gloves, thick sole boots, ear plugs and eye protection if you have it.

Riddles Bend
If you would like to volunteer in the Riddles Bend area, report to Rainbow City Fire Station #2 (Riddles Bend Fire Station) weekdays between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Bring heavy work gloves, thick sole boots, ear plugs and eye protection if you have it.
